ABOUT
LK Small transports and delivers healthy and sustainable goods in two key sectors: food and healthcare, with a focus on the systemically underserved communities.

Our vision is not a mere logistical solution; it’s a mission to enact transformative change within a community.

Minorities across America have consistently encountered healthcare disparities, and Chicago is no exception to this unfortunate trend. Lee intimately understands this reality, having served as the primary caretaker for his late mother. She battled dementia and hypertension, relying on prescribed medications to manage her conditions. Without timely access to these medications, her health would undoubtedly have deteriorated more rapidly. After all, who wouldn't want to extend the time they have with their beloved mother's smiling face?

For Lee, this mission is deeply personal.

ABOUT LEE LAMPLEY

Lee M. Lampley II, a former professional basketball player, and current financier launched LK Small as a tribute to his beloved siblings and father. Founded on family principles and rooted in community, LK Small is a minority-owned transportation and logistics company established in 2020 and headquartered in Chicago.

Lee recalls at a very young age when his father loaded him and his siblings into their green station wagon for healthcare visits, for which they had to drive for miles to the suburbs. He later realized that the reason for travel was the lack of sufficient healthcare available in underserved communities like theirs.
